Maid-Rite supports different non-profit organizations that try to make the world a better place to live in. Today, we will go over a few of those groups and why they are supported in part through Maid-Rite.
Located in Des Moins, the Iowa Hall of Pride strives to show young people just how amazing the state is and how many great people have lived in the area. No other such hall exists throughout the US. The Hall honors students and athletes (mostly High School level) for their achievements and celebrates graduates with great extracurricular activity history. The building is very technology friendly with touch screen displays and interactive exhibits. For as little as $30 a year, anyone can become a member and help support this wonderful hall.
Maid-Rite supports the Iowa Hall of Pride because they love their home state of Iowa and know that recognizing extraordinary people only encourages others to become greater.
This famous organization found worldwide strives to help young people to become “productive, caring, responsible citizens.” They run various programs relating to education and career skill building, leadership programs, art appreciation, physical activity, and health consciousness. They can also cater to various needs children may have. The many Boys and Girls Club locations throughout America provide a safe place for children to be social and grow to become functional human beings. It can also be a safe haven for children who are being bullied or have any social, academic, or home problems. 90% of children who attend B&GC graduate and nearly as many become healthier due to health education. You can become a sponsor or donate funds to aid the progress of this wonderful foundation.
Maid-Rite supports The Boys And Girls Clubs of America because the youth of today is tomorrow’s future so the more help those children can get, the better the future will be.
Using music, Rock in Prevention strives to help people learn how to prevent bullying and promote healthy life choices with music workshops. These workshops allow children to learn how to handle their feelings and problems through music and it also helps teachers and parents learn to better support the children in their lives. This high-energy 12 week workshop helps children throughout Iowa through festivals, youth groups, Boy/Girl Scout events, schools, libraries, parks, camps, etc. You can donate directly to the foundation or become a full sponsor.
Maid-Rite supports the Rock in Prevention plan because they care about the wellbeing of children in Iowa. They are open to new ideas to help others and Rock in Prevention has a unique plan that works!
If there is a foundation you feel Maid-Rite should start supporting, let us know! Also, if you choose to start a franchised location of your own, feel free to promote local youth organizations you feel will better your community with a little extra funding.
